North Wales Police, supported by Mountain Rescue Teams and RAF Search and Rescue continue to try to locate 56-year-old Ausra Plungiene, who was last seen Tuesday morning (April 11th).
Superintendent Owain Llewelyn said: “Searches continued all day yesterday in the Carneddau, despite extremely difficult weather conditions, including snow and gale force winds. We are very concerned for Ausra’s welfare and our enquiries continued throughout the night. Searches resumed at first light this morning.
“Specialist officers continue to support Ausra’s family and we would ask the media to respect their privacy at this difficult time.
“I would like to thank members of the public who have contacted us thus far, and would ask anyone who may have seen Ausra with her dog Eyora, or anyone who has any information as to her whereabouts to contact us on 101 or via the live webchat facility on our website, quoting reference number A052734.”
