Ymchwiliad yn parhau yn dilyn marwolaeth dyn yng Nghaergybi

An investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Holyhead during the early hours of this morning (Saturday, 17 October).

Officers were contacted at 02:42 by the Welsh Ambulance Service to an address in Llys Watling, London Road where a man was found inside one of the flats.

Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

A local man has been arrested in connection with the incident, and he remains in police custody at this time.

Detective Chief Inspector Richard Sidney from North Wales Police said: “We understand this incident may cause concern in the local community, and I would like to reassure residents that there will be an increased police presence in the area today as officers carry out house-to-house enquiries and further investigations.”
