We’re appealing for information following a disturbing livestock attack in the Llandyrnog area of Denbighshire.
Two sheep have died after being attacked in a field adjacent to Siglen Uchaf below Moel Artur between 6pm on 30 August and 12pm on 31 August.
PC Ian Nicholls said: “Despite our repeated warnings to highlight the devastating impacts of livestock worrying, attacks continue to be reported.
“It is disappointing that no one has come forward to report this incident.
“We are once again urging dog owners to keep dogs on leads whilst walking in fields where livestock are present as not to cause distress or harm to the animals.
“If your dog has escaped in a rural area, you should contact the police as early as possible so local farmers and landowners can be alerted.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area during the evening of 30 August or the morning of 31 August and has information that could assist our investigations to contact us quoting reference 25000725028.”
