We are responding to an incident in the Morfa area of Prestatyn.
Police were called to the Dawson Drive area shortly before 8.40am today, Friday 24 October, by a member of the public reporting a body located in the area.
The scene has been cordoned off by officers and members of the public are asked to avoid the area while we continue to deal with the incident.
Superintendent Lee Boycott said: “Investigations are underway at pace to establish the circumstances of the incident.
“We understand there will be concern within our local communities and we will continue to keep them informed as we gather more information.
“There will be an increased policing presence locally today and into the weekend to support our investigation and reassure the public.
“We ask that anyone with concerns, or information that could assist with our investigations, to approach our officers in the community.
“You can also contact us via the website, or by calling us on 101.
“I would also ask that people do not speculate online and to report any information or concerns to officers. We will provide further information in due course.”
