Continuing our focus on tackling antisocial behaviour and criminal activity.
Issued 09 July 2026
Wrexham Rural Patrol and Neighbourhood Officers continue to tackle antisocial behaviour across the district, working alongside our partner agencies, providing a sustained and effective response to anti-social behaviour (ASB) and criminal activity, identifying solutions to prevent reoffending, utilising education and intervention programmes. We have also been proactive around the district, undertaking a number of drug warrants that resulted in arrests for drug related offences.

Visibility and engagement with our communities.
Issued 09 July 2026
Wrexham Rural Patrol and Neighbourhood Teams are still achieving some of the highest ‘out of station’ results in the force, meaning that officers are spending more time within the communities they police. More of our staff are now trained in safely using our electric bikes, providing an alternative source of visible mobile patrol by our Police Community Support Officers. We continue to promote the use of social media as an alternative means of engagement and communication, providing regular information and updates within the district. In addition, we are available to meet directly with the communities through our police surgeries which alternate between Rhos and Llay every month. Wherever possible, Wrexham Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team continue to provide a visible presence at community events whilst also attending outside school premises to monitor road safety.
