Antisocial Driving – Caernarfon
Action taken:
Recent correspondence with elected representatives indicates that antisocial driving remains a significant concern for residents in Caernarfon, particularly around Y Maes and surrounding areas. The Neighbourhood Policing Team has appointed PC 3494 Jarvis to coordinate our response to this issue. PC Jarvis will work closely with partners and the Roads Crime Unit to ensure a proportionate policing response and to identify appropriate enforcement opportunities. We will continue to engage with elected officials to support a coordinated and consistent approach.

Antisocial Behaviour – Multi-storey Car Park, Caernarfon
Action taken:
Reports of antisocial behaviour continue in and around the multi-storey car park and nearby bus stop area. PC 3627 Jones has been appointed to lead our response to this concern. PC Jones is actively working with partners, including Cyngor Gwynedd, to identify and disrupt those responsible. We encourage local residents and businesses affected to engage with us and share information to support ongoing work.

Local businesses have recently received an ASB survey from the Neighbourhood Policing Team to help identify key concerns. Feedback will inform joint problem-solving with partners to address the behaviours impacting the High Street. Targeted patrols will continue at peak times, and we encourage the community to report incidents and support enforcement activity. We will continue to enforce the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) where offences are identified. We remain committed to supporting the Bangor Street Watch initiative led by Bangor City Council.
