HeForShe – movement for gender equality
HeForShe is an invitation for men and people of all genders to stand in solidarity with women to create a bold, visible and united force for gender equality.
Since its launch, by UN Women in 2014, millions of men from around the world, including Heads of State, CEOs and global leaders have committed to gender equality. HeForShe has been the subject of more than 2 billion conversations on social media and off-line activities reaching every corner of the globe. Find out more about the movement.

Chief Constable Carl Foulkes is the UK Policing lead for HeForShe, “HeForShe is a United Nations led worldwide movement and we are proud to bring its focus to UK policing; eradicating the gender inequalities that exist in our forces will enable us to better serve our communities.”
All forces within the UK support HeForShe, the report Gender Equality in UK Policing: Third Annual Report looks at the progress made by forces and provides best practice examples as to the activities and innovative practice they are undertaking to work towards gender equality.
