An investigation has been launched into a robbery in Coedpoeth.
At 9.41 am this morning (Wednesday, November 13th) we received a report two suspects entered a pharmacy on the High Street and demanded money from the till, before making off on foot.
They are believed to have run up Tabor Hill and turned right towards the Parish Hall.
Searches to locate the suspects are ongoing.
Detective Inspector Claire Roberts said: “Our investigation into this incident, and efforts to locate the suspects, continue.
“I would like to reassure the community that incidents of this nature are rare in Wrexham. There is not understood to be any wider threat to the community and no injuries were reported during this incident.
“I am grateful to those who have come forward with information so far, which has helped with our enquiries.
“I am now asking anyone with information or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage in the area of the High Street, Tabor Hill or Park Road, to contact us via our website, or by calling 101, quoting reference number Q171369.
“You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
