We are appealing for witnesses as part of an investigation into an attempted robbery in Prestatyn yesterday.
Officers responded to an incident on Gas Works Lane at 7.13pm on Tuesday, March 19th following a report a man had sustained injuries after being confronted by three youths.
The man was taken to hospital.
One person has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Kris Williams said: “We understand three young males were involved in the incident. One suspect has been arrested and is currently being interviewed by officers.
“I am interested in speaking to anyone who was in the area of Gas Works Lane anytime between 6.30pm and 7.15pm on Tuesday, March 19th, or anyone with information that might assist with our investigation, to contact us at the earliest opportunity.
“We are maintaining an enhanced presence in the area today for reassurance purposes.”
