A 23-year-old man has been charged following a robbery at a fuel station in Wrexham.
The incident was reported shortly before 12.20am on Sunday, June 9th at the Esso garage on Wrexham Road, Rhostyllen.
Corey Li, of Tudor Avenue, Rhostyllen, was arrested and subsequently charged yesterday (Wednesday, June 12th) with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He was remanded into custody and will appear before Mold Magistrates Court this morning.
A second suspect remains unidentified.
Acting Detective Inspector Claire Roberts said: “I am urging anyone with information that could assist with our investigation to identify a second suspect, to contact us at the earliest opportunity.
“I would like to once again reassure the community that there is not believed to be any wider threat the community following this incident.”
