A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two knifepoint robberies in Wrexham.
Officers carried out a warrant at an address in Bryn Offa, Wrexham today, (Thursday, January 11th), where a man was arrested on suspicion of two robberies that took place in the city centre earlier this week.
The first was reported to have happened at around 9.30pm on Monday, January 8th at a convenience store on Ruabon Road.
The second incident at a convenience store on Norman Road was reported shortly before 9pm on Tuesday, January 9th.
The man remains in custody whilst enquiries are ongoing.
