We are appealing for witnesses and information following a suspected arson.
Shortly after 10pm on Tuesday, January 30th, we were called to assist colleagues from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service following a fire at a property in the area of Bryn Barug, Pontblyddyn.
The fire is suspected to have been a deliberate ignition.
Detective Inspector Dean Jones said: “We are asking anyone who was driving along the A541 in Pontblyddyn shortly before or after 10pm on January 30th and saw anyone in the area, or might have dashcam footage, to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
“We are also appealing to anyone with CCTV in the area, or anyone who was walking near Bryn Barug at the time to contact us.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact officers on 101, or via the website, using reference 24000132565.
