PC Tom Harvey, PC Sion Jones, PCSO Delia Bellis, PCSO Sandie Williams and PCSO Shana Clarke were recently commended by Superintendent Llinos Davies for their remarkable work to save the life of a man who sustained a life-threatening head injury.
Officers attended the Rhydymain area in August 2023 in response to an incident in which a man was lying in a 30-metre-deep ravine. Following the courageous effort by officers, the man luckily survived the incident.
Superintendent Llinos Davies said: “The officers displayed immense courage and worked together during a complex rescue operation with partner agencies to save a man’s life.
“They are a credit to their community and deserve to be commended for their actions.”
