A 31-year-old man has been jailed for sexual offences.
Sam Sherman Davies, of NFA, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court today, Monday September 11th, after pleading guilty to rape and controlling and coercive behaviour.
He was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment. He was also issued with a restraining order and will be on the sex offenders register for life.
Detective Constable Delyth Shakespeare said: “The length of his sentence reflects the seriousness of the offence and the impact it has had on the victim.
“I commend the bravery of the victim who has shown remarkable courage throughout the investigation, and I hope that she can find closure and comfort in knowing that justice has been served today.
“We remain committed to bringing perpetrator of sexual crimes to justice and I would encourage anyone who wishes to report a sexual crime to come forward and speak to us.”
