A 43-year-old man has today been sentenced for child abuse offences.
Sion Wyn Thomas, of Bangor, appeared at Mold Crown Court today (Monday October 9th) after pleading guilty to child abuse over a number of years.
He was sentenced to 14 and a half years imprisonment. He will also be placed on the sex offenders register for life.
Detective Constable Richard Dwyfor-Clark said: “We welcome the sentencing of Sion Wyn Thomas today.
“He cruelly abused children and we would like to thank the victims and witnesses who have bravely come forward to ensure that Sion Wyn Thomas is not able to do this to any other child.
“If you are a victim or suspect that someone you know is being abused, please come forward, we will take your report seriously and we are ready to listen to you.”
