Body found in Moelfre

Sadly, we can confirm that the body of a man was found in Moelfre yesterday, Monday October 2^nd.

We received a call at 10.40am yesterday regarding concerns for a 63-year-old man who had gone missing from the Moelfre area of Anglesey.

A multi-agency search was launched, including the coastguard, RNLI and NPAS.

Sadly, the body of the man was found at 2.40pm yesterday. There are thought to be no suspicious circumstances.

The man’s next of kin and the coroner have been informed.
