"I’m Special Sergeant Sean Keeley. I have been a Special Constable since January 2022 and spend most of my time working on response policing.
"When I’m not volunteering as a Special, I’m a PhD student studying Forensic Chemistry and Environmental Science.
"However, I’ve enjoyed working as a Special so much, that I have decided to continue my PhD part time and join the police as a regular police constable.
"I’ll start my training soon as a trainee PC and look forward to using the skills and experience developed whilst working on response as a Special in my career as a Police Constable."
Keep an eye on our social media channels throughout the week where we will be shining the light on our response officers using #ResponsePolicingWeek.
