Sergeant Simon Barlow has been awarded with a Superintendent’s commendation for his dedication to the communities of Gwynedd South.
Sergeant Barlow is the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) sergeant for the district and manages a team of Community Beat Managers (CBMs) and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs).
Temporary Superintendent Llinos Davies awarded Sergeant Barlow with the commendation for his recent dedication, creativity, and resourcefulness to serve the communities in the district.
T/Superintendent Llinos Davies said: “I wish to thank Simon and recognise his enthusiasm and commitment to the role of Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant.
“The NPT plays a pivotal role in protecting the public and preventing crime and disorder.
“They continue to prioritise the communities they serve through partnership working, early intervention, problem solving, community engagement and visibility.”
