The Dolgellau Rainbows and Brownies undertook litter pick events in the park and on the Marian in Dolgellau throughout June to promote a clean and tidy environment and to support their local community.
To thank them for all their hard work to improve their community, PCSO Gareth Jones visited the 1st Dolgellau Rainbows last week to present them with a cheque for £150 from PACT to help fund further projects in the community.
We were impressed by everyone’s enthusiasm to take part in litter picking in the community and would like to say well done to all involved.
PACT Project Manager, Dave Evans, said: "I'm delighted that PACT have been able to support PCSO Gareth and his work with young people in Dolgellau. Well done to all those who took part in the litter-pick.
“One of the aims of the North Wales Police and Communities Trust (PACT) fund is to promote community engagement and any organisation wishing to make an application for a grant should contact their local Neighbourhood Policing Team who can advise and assist them.”
