The North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner has today published a review into the policing of the Hunting Act in North Wales.
In response, Deputy Chief Constable Richard Debicki said: “I acknowledge the contents of the Hunting Review, independently commissioned by the Police and Crime Commissioner, and have considered the findings which will shape our operational response going forward.
“It was pleasing to note that the operational changes already made were recognised and reflected in the report, but I acknowledge that there is still work for us to do.
“As a force we recognise that hunting is a subject that promotes passionate and emotive views on all sides of the debate. I would like to thank everyone who took part in the review and to reassure them that their views will be taken into account as we continue to improve our response further in line with the recommendations.”
