We are continuing to appeal for information following an assault in Holyhead on Thursday, November 30th.
The incident, in which a man received stab wounds, is believed to have happened between 9.30pm-10.15pm in the Roberts Street and Edmund Street areas of Holyhead.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and has since been discharged.
Detective Inspector Richard Griffith said: “We continue to appeal to anyone who was in the Edmund Street and Roberts Street areas of Holyhead on the evening of Thursday November 30th and may have seen or heard anything suspicious to contact us.
“I’d like to reassure the community that incidents of this nature are incredibly rare in Anglesey. This was an isolated incident and there is not believed to be any wider threat to the community.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area for reassurance purposes.
“I urge anyone with information or possible dashcam or private CCTV footage in the above areas that could assist in our investigations to get in touch.
“If you don’t wish to speak with police, you can report information to Crimestoppers completely anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
