As the weather gets better over half term and into the summer, we’d to remind residents of simple crime prevention tips that are often forgotten in sunny weather but can also make you vulnerable to theft.
Sergeant Arwel Hughes said: “We hope that everyone is able to enjoy the summer weather but would also like to remind the community to be aware that criminals are opportunist and may take advantage of open windows or unlocked sheds as they know people will be out in the nice weather.
“Please be vigilant and don’t make it easy for a thief to take your hard-earned and valuable items by leaving windows and doors open unattended as we move into summer.”
